Light Your Way to Better Creativity and Build Your Portfolio
Set against the gritty, textured backdrop of the abandoned Boldt Paper Mill in New Iberia , this interactive afternoon is all about practicing dramatic lighting and capturing incredible, stylized imagery.
After a short introduction and explanation , we will allow you to work directly with the live models . You will learn how to light a 3-D subject separated from the background . To help you get creative against the graffiti and exposed brick, there will be smoke machines available, as well as color gels!
Throughout the afternoon, two Masters of Photography, James Byron and Robby Bishop , will be walking around to advise, direct, help, and share their knowledge.
Important Logistics for Attendees:
To ensure everyone can connect and shoot seamlessly, we would like to know the equipment list you will be bringing. Specifically, please let us know if you shoot Nikon or Canon . We need to know this to see how many transmitters are needed for the group.
